"Working alongside Mr. Rodriguez over the course of my high school career, in both AP World History and AP European History has transformed both my historical knowledge, as well as my writing techniques entirely. Unlike others, he closes the time gap between early- modern history and contemporary history, by providing real-life applicable and tangible examples into his lessons; otherwise allowing students to see how history ultimately repeats itself, and recognizing patterns as to why events successively occur. This correlation (connecting the curriculum to student’s personal experiences) is crucial to their success. In fact, the growth I have undergone as a result of his tutelage, has been a deciding factor in regards to my acceptance to prestigious programmes globally, such as International Baccalaureate. "

"The writing style of AP World test was incredibly difficult to understand but the way in which Mr. Rodriguez taught it helped me and my peers to collaborate and perfect the writing. He would go back and forth with us until we had gotten the necessary points and the process repeated until we knew the rubric like the back of our hands. The history aspect of the class was made exceedingly simpler due to Mr. Rodriguez’s unique teaching styles. He would tell us anecdotes instead of teaching lessons which I can personally say was far more engaging than regular styles of teaching. His charisma also helped engage the class and allowed me to retain the information more clearly because I could relate it to amusing events that I could picture clearly. These qualities all come together to create a great teacher and the results are great students and consistently good AP scores."

"As a student of AP World History and AP European History, the reality of taking a difficult class has been very apparent to me. However, having Mr. Rodriguez as a mentor through this process has helped me greatly. From his direct and informative teaching style to his ability to pressure his students into growing, his teaching insight is an incredibly valuable resource. Without his help, my peers and I would not have grown into determined and confident students that can consistently perform well on classwork and assessments. "
